Scribner’s Magazine

Note: There is sometimes confusion between Scribner’s Magazine (January 1887–May 1939) and Scribner’s Monthly: An Illustrated Magazine for the People  (1870–1881); the latter became The Century Magazine after Charles Scribner II sold his part of the company to Roswell Smith. Lang also wrote for The Century Magazine
